ABOUT BIG FIX
✦ WHAT CONSIDERS AS BIG FIX?
- Every kind of fix, that makes me redo a whole section or takes considerable time to fix, is counted as BIG FIX.✦ HOW MANY BIG FIXES YOU CAN DO?
- Client has 3 chances total to make big fix in 3 key steps.
- In case client wishes to change things suppose to be fixed in the previous step(s), which will affect on the whole work process speed. I will charge extra fee depending on the complexity of these changes.
- So carefully consider when you want to change your mind, and try to give all the feedback at once.✦ WHEN TO MAKE BIG FIXES?
- Below are examples for types of big fix, that you may consider to request for change if needed:• Step 1. Sketching: You may change brief, camera angle, request for different sketches options, add/ remove/ change details. (Such as: during discussion, you get better idea and wish to change; move the camera angle higher and zoom closer to character's face; draw character in different hairstyle and costume.)• Step 2. Color and lighting base: You may change color moods, different lighting set up, or any type of changes relate to color, etc. (Such as: change the sky from dusk to dawn color, change shadow and light color combination , etc...)• Step 3. Rendering: You may change the texture/ material of the object in the painting, request to render small additional details, etc. (Such as: Make the eyes more glowing, change straight hair to curly hair, change jeans jacket into leather jacket, add sunray hit on character's face, etc...)
Things I won't count in your BIG FIX attemps:
- My own fault mistake: I misunderstand the brief; I missed important details that you already mentioned in the email, etc.
- Minor fix (such as: make the hair fluffier, make object smaller/ bigger that doesn't require to repaint a large area, add some pattern on the shirt, etc.)
